Pretty Shabby also accepts Checks and Postal Money Orders. Personal checks must clear before merchandise can be shipped (usually 5-7 days). If you are paying by check or money order, payment is expected within 5-7 days. If payment is not received within 10 days the item(s) purchased will be put back into inventory and made available for sale.
We utilize the shipping services of USPS, FedEx, and UPS, whichever is most economical while providing a 3-5 day shipping period. Shipping charges are for the continental US only. Alaska & Hawaii may incur additional shipping charges which will be invoiced seperately via PayPal. All additional expenses must be paid prior to shipping. International customers please email first for a shipping quote and any other additional charges that may apply. All international sales must be paid using pay pal, no exceptions. International Buyers are responsible for all import fees, duties & levies. Please note : I combine shipping on multiple items & excessive shipping charges will be refunded via pay pal.
SHIPPING/INSURANCE CLAIMS: Purchasing shipping insurance is strongly recommended. PLEASE NOTE that uninsured, lost or damaged items WILL NOT BE COVERED by the shipper and Pretty Shabby/ Shabby foo foo is not liable for refund due to loss or damage by the shipper. Great care is taken in the packaging of your purchases but occasionally items may be damaged in transit. If you receive an item that has been damaged we will be happy to file the insurance claim for you and follow up to ensure your refund is credited back to you as soon as the shipping service pays the claim. The shipping service is responsible for refunding the customer for damage claims. Once a claim has been submitted the shipping service will pick up the package from your home and the claim will be paid in approximately 10 business days. All shipping services REQUIRE that you retain the original packaging and box for their inspection and processing of your claim. Please keep all original packaging in tact and with your item for pick up. Failure to do so may result in your claim being rejected.
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. In the event you wish to return an item for any reason other than shipping damages, please contact us via email within 3 days of receipt of your purchase to obtain a Return Authorization Number. Returned items without an Authorization Number will not be accepted.
Some of our inventory is shabby cottage, vintage or one of a kind. These pieces are gently used and/or worn and have imperfections that give them character and add beauty. These items are non refundable.
Shipping fees are not refundable. Refunds on returned items, for reasons other than damages due to shipping, will be for store credit only.
Returned items should be packaged securely in their original packaging and original condition, and MUST be insured for the value of the item. The original packing slip along with your Return Authorization Number must be included as well. Returned items which become lost or damaged during shipping and have NOT been insured shall VOID all refunds or store credit.
Returned items must be received within 14 days of original purchase.
